What variant of The Devil And God... does everyone have on vinyl?

I have the transparent blue, exclusive tour version.

I've always wanted the Sea Foam green variant. Had considered a trade before, but usually just don't even bother because I love the blue so much. But I am curious to see if anyone who does have that variant would be interested in a trade?

I missed out on the AFS pressings forever ago, so I have the seafoam one. My white whales are the purple or the /666 red, though.

 

I have the 180g clear SRC version limited to 2500. The one involved in "sticker gate." Everyone who ordered the clear version was getting theirs first and most of theirs showed up with the shrink wrap sticker on the actual record sleeve. I had ordered black and saw those ones had the sticker on the shrink wrap so ours weren't ruined. I got it in the mail, sticker was on the shrink wrap and someone at SRC messed up and sent me a clear copy. I think that's the only time I've ever ordered from SRC too.

 

I'm glad my version has no sticker and also has a gatefold haha.

 

I have the double lp one that skips on Luca, I think that's the song the groove is jacked up on....

I have the one that was pressed after the whole sticker thing. Idk exactly. Its black and 180gram and has no gatefold. Would love too get one with the gatefold but seeing as so many cool bands are putting out records, it seems silly to spend a bunch on a record I already have. Even if it is my favorite album ever made

 

honestly the only time I care to get my hands on rare variants are when there is no other option haha... Like if I want to get Thrice's "Beggars" on vinyl, I have no choice but to spend a lot of money. But if I could get just a black standard pressing of it like they've started doing for TDAG I'd be all over that. I don't wanna pay 200 bucks for an album just so it can have a cool color while its spinning on my platter

 

That's the version of Beggars I got. It was the cheapest option. It was still like $50, but I didn't really care what color it was - as long as I had it.

 

I need a Beggars repress so bad. Ugh.

Also, what ever happened to the Alchemy Index repressings that were supposed to happen?

 

I don't think a repress of The Alchemy Index was ever confirmed.

That's a bummer, I could've sworn it was confirmed.

 

I liked IIAN when I first heard it. Then after multiple listens I liked it much less. Then after seeing it live I started to dislike it. Just felt flat, especially when up against the rest of their catalog.

 

Seeing it live it felt like they didn't even like it at all. They seemed bored playing it

 

It's funny, because I was really excited to see it live on their last tour because it was one of the very few songs I've never seen them play live and they opened with it on the Cleveland date it felt very flat. Like, it was not a good opener at all.

 

I know people were talking jive on Failure By Design the other day, but one fateful Saturday morning in '09 it came on my Last.fm station and I've been hooked ever since.

 

I have marbled red, sea foam green, transparent and black! And will be buying more in LA if I can find anywhere that stocks any. I've been dying for that tour blue one though. Sigh

 

I have TDAG on black/blue swirl (AFS variant) and white (I'm assuming Triple Crown)

 

This dude still wins. Every TDAG variant every BN vinyl variant.

I got my copy from Hot Topic back in 2010....only like 17.99 at the time, which wasn't horrible but felt expensive. My how vinyl has risen in prices.

 

Is Beggars really that rare now? I don't even have a record player and threw down some cash for a random colored vinyl at a Hot Topic when it came out just for shiggles! Lol
