I feel the same way. It's wishful thinking on my part that the album will be released by the time they tour, but I definitely think we'll get some new songs live.

 

Nailed it! When you visit a thread again, it'll take that as a sign to send some notifications so that you know there's new stuff, but otherwise you'd be getting thousands of notifications, so if you haven't visited a thread for a while, it doesn't send a billion notification.

 

I'm so wishy washy when it comes to my patience.

Earlier today I was all "content" to wait for whenever the band was ready.

This afternoon, all I keep thinking about is how much I want the album in June.

 

They updated their site to "brand new is in the studio" and have been posting pictures and videos of them recording. That hasn't happened before; we saw pictures of members of bn recording, most of which got taken down, and it turned out that was them recording Heat Thing. "Brand New is in the studio" is much more definitive than anything that's happened since Daisy came out. Literally the only way we don't get a new Brand New album out of this is if they dislike the finished product and decide not to release it.

 

Just found out that my friend's wedding is going to be on the same day that Brand New is playing. I'll probably have to miss their wedding.

 

I hadn't been using that tab but I guess that's probably the best idea! thanks.

And thanks everyone that had input to my whining haha. I totally understand that it's a new site so there is a learning curve. Just was frustrated that I missed out on pages of this thread because I didn't get any notifications.

 

Chiming in late. I'm camping / on vaca right now so I can't post much. Basically this is what I have to say on the matter:

All I know is I'm seeing Brand New and mewithoutYou in less than a month and I don't care about anything else.

 

Just think... You'll probably be seeing new music!

I'm going to make a conclusion here, that seems rational... It's just the stuff he's always had and nothing to do with LP5.

But whatever he does have, he must enjoy it, and I want to hear it.

This is not true. Don't pay to be a supporter for new Brand New, you'd be dissapointed and angry with me, @Jason Tate , and Brand New (because people are always angry with them for things they didn't do or intend). Pay for other cool perks.
