I'm not on Twitter so I don't follow him. Personally I just got curious and was bored so I looked at his Twitter. He seems to tweet a lot nothing very memorable though. Could never get into Twitter.

 

Thanks. Good for him! I was so confused when everyone in this thread has been talking about him. Glad to be in the loop!

 

He did tweet something like "Big Week" right before they announced the Greater Pyraneese release. But I'm just glad nobody took it seriously in here the other day. I think we all knew it wasn't anything P!MT related. I was mostly making fun of the "lets freak out over every little thing" stuff that happens!

I enjoy Zacks Twitter feed though. He has a pretty damn interesting life.

Oh, if that's the case, my bad then. This whole thing was random haha, it just came to mind. Oh!! I might know why I thought it was on the CD, I bet I burned a pirated version of it back then and that track was included possibly.

 

I'm pretty sure he made his Twitter and other stuff private for a while after a weird round with the tapes.

I seem to remember not being able to retweet him. I think you're right. Kind of a bummer.

 

Yeah people were tweeting at him being demanding and weird about stuff and kind of attacking him. It was weird. People are weird.

 

my niece refuses to nap for everyone else, but I'll sing her Sowing Season and she'll be out before the first chorus.

 

Thrice is doing right. Those videos they have been releasing leading up to the release of their new album are excellent. Wish Brand New would do something similar. Thank you Thrice.

 

"Mene" has finally started growing on me. It's not even close to being one of my favorites, but I've gone from active dislike to "hey, this isn't bad". If anything, it gets me excited for the next album's possibilities, even if it ends up being left off.

I still can't believe it's been almost seven years since Daisy.

 

All of this. I even felt that way when we got the first daisy single. Little iffy. But 7 years seems so weird. I was in a totally different time in my life. In a relationship on the fritz to now only being 24 days away from marrying the love of my life...and Im still excited for new music from these guys. Come on, Chicago show.

 

I love Mene! its probably top 5 Brand New for me. What do people not like about it? Not asking in a judgmental way, just curious, because it represents everything I love about this band.

 

Mene is good.. Not great. Nice in and out song.. More interested in hearing what sealed to me would sound like on an album.. It has to be on the record since we haven't gotten it as a single

I definitely prefer Mene to Sealed To Me. But that could change once we've gotten a studio version of Sealed To Me.

That's interesting. For me, it represents my least favorite things about the band. I much prefer my Brand New to be slow, groovy, and atmospheric (think "Nobody Moves" or "Jaws Theme Swimming"). "Mene" is a neat little punk-ish tune, but I guess you could say "I don't feel anything". Wah wah.

 

I can get behind that, I think if they put out a whole album in this style I'd grow tired of it. I love the lyrics and how strangely catchy it is, but i do have a soft spot for the slower, atmospheric songs as well.

 

I'm actually curious as to what everyone's favorite song off Daisy is at this point. Mine is probably "Sink", but "Vices" is still like right there.

Gasoline or Vices.

 

Sink or You Stole. The drums and guitar make Sink for me, whereas Vin's harmonies during the pre-chorus, the atmosphere, and dueling guitars on You Stole have always made it a favorite of mine.
