Yeah man - if you're good at something, never do it for free. But it's nice when you do.

 

I mean, if I could get paid a livable wage to do it I would photograph bands every night. Right now, I'm looking at it as a really fun hobby, and trying to get better each time I shoot. I just started probably 7-8 months ago and have only shot probably a little over a dozen shows total. So I'm still going up on the learning curve for sure.

 

Would you guys be interested in prints if I put them up at a more than reasonable price? I guess I have to research what that all costs and set up a site. But, I'm just trying to gauge interest. At the very least I need to experiment with a photo portfolio site.

Absolutely yeah. Once I get paid I'll look into it for sure - there's a spot on the wall between that blacklight jellyfish poster and a Keaton Henson original that one of these photos would look wicked between.

Yep, on bandcamp and iTunes it should be available. Don't think the vinyl orders will get an instant download, rather, a card included in the sleeve. Hasn't happened with any other of the new releases.

 

A fucking album announcement would be nice too eh. Anyways looking forward to hearing Out of Range tomorrow AND also listening to Safe to Say's new record tomorrow!!

Great i'm very glad to hear that! I've loved all the new songs i've heard so i have pretty high hopes for it. Will you be writting up a review for it?

So have they confirmed that "Out Of Range" has been re-recorded or re-mixed or whatever? I feel like I haven't seen anything to that effect but everyone's excited for it like it's a new song.

 

If I have time. I still have to do Relient K and I'm going to Cooperstown this weekend for the Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. But I'm going to try and get something up on both albums next week.

Awesome. I'll let you know when I have everything set up. A close friend of mine already asked for a print of the sort of ominous looking Vin photo so I will at least make a few prints of that one.
