I think people are really excited about a truly new release from the band, but since we already know we're getting one this year, there's not a whole lot of anxiety about if or when it will happen.

And remember, what you're seeing here is, for the most part, the biggest Brand New fans reacting to this and they (we!) are likely to get excited about anything the band releases.

 

Truth. Also, I hope it still comes out this year, if it was going to (and follow a traditional release cycle) it should be announced relatively soon....?

 

Second verse "Few mother's sons, it's a shame that it'll never be enough", different than the old version's "will never really be enough"

 

I don't know if there's any reason to think it will follow a traditional release cycle. It's possible one of the tracks ("Mene") was released more than a year before the album. I wouldn't be surprised to see the album pop up as "Coming Soon" one day, and be available the next, kinda like what happened here. But we also know we're supposed to be getting a new single this summer, so an album announcement could come along with that.

 

I wish they would rework YFW into a jazz album.

 

Never was a big fan of the brothers demo, but the full band version has won me over. Lucky for us it seems like they're checking off their to do list before calling it quits

 

Buuuut.... You didn't write the song? And this isn't a cover. Literally any version of this song put out is exactly how it is meant to be... Actually maybe this version even more so, seeing as the original was not supposed to get out.

 

Anyone ever have luck selling physical tickets, day of show? They finally released the closest seats today so now I have to sell my original ones.

Other music exists. Brand new can and will release music when they want to. I'm not frustrated because I have plenty of other music I love to bide my time. Simple

i long for the day i can load up this site and see the headline 'Brand New to release new album'. We all do

 

UGH this dl is taking forever lol

 

Took out the "3" in the title, deleted the original demo versions, and slapped Nobody Moves (Prime) on at the end and called it an EP.

 

It's happened three times before. Was around for two.

 

When you think about it, Good Man is now the only one that was never reworked into anything else.

 

Tempted to make a playlist with Good Man (2015), these three, Nobody Moves Prime, Luca (DaG version), Fork & Knife (final version), Sowing Season, then Archers.
