What does ether mean? Does it make sense in this context. Don't use that word very often

 

Bill and Ted is one of my favorite things. I got in an argument with a group of highschool kids at a drive in movie this summer for bad mouthing Keanu Reeves and specifically Bill and Ted

 

I'm not even sure what ether is....

 

Someone please tell me this about my lost post to cheer me up lol
