Uhm @DejaMoi got attacked by a spider, we started a listening party thread (come join us), there was a lot of talk about cheese (like a LOT), and @KidLightning got a zit on his knee.

Think that pretty much covers the important stuff.

 

It's honestly the best job I've ever had. Just wish it paid more.

Which album? Also, fuck spiders. And there's a great Irish pub in Philly called Fergie's that makes an awesome grilled cheese sandwich with apples and Brie

Today's my last day at my temp job, and I'm starting a new (permanent) job on Monday. Both excited and nervous as hell. Me, my girlfriend and a couple of friends are doing karaoke on friday night to celebrate.

Is it wrong that there's a small part of me that wonders what happened to that band?

 

Last I remember is they did one of those Kickstarter pages for a new record and it fell WAY short of goal.

In December 2014, Brokencyde launched an Indiegogocrowdfunding campaign, seeking US$30,000 to help fund the recording and marketing of a new album entitled All Grown Up.[17] By the time the funding period ended in February 2015, the band only managed to raise US$1,421 from 33 backers — less than 5% of their intended goal.[18] Nevertheless, the group still self-released a 23-track album titled All Grown Up.

 

Also, how do they still average almost 42K Spotify listeners a month. Yikes

 

I actually haven't listened either. Part of what we want to do in that thread is listen to new artists that some of us recommend that the rest haven't listened to yet, so she is one of those artists for me.
