Dude there was a show that Ivoryline did with Emery and Sky Eats Airplane at the Marquee in Arizona, that was some amazing line-up and energy.

El oh el sky eats airplane. Story time.

Buddy of mine was really into them back in the day, so we hung out a little with Brian Zimmerman (I think he was the second singer they had?) and he asked us if we could lend him money for food or something (I think?) and he would grab us free shirts after the show, so we went with him to a gas station where he bought booze with our money and then veryyy sketchily grabbed us shirts out of a box by their van. He definitely was not supposed to be doing it, and I've always felt like I probably helped enable an alcoholic. Weirdest show experience of my life probably (also because the show was not crowded at all and was in a weird venue and was a really weird lineup: on my list of concerts I have it as "Death From Above Tour: Sky Eats Airplane and a bunch of shitty bands")

 

I’ve mentioned it in like two threads but as a kid I’d always watch King of Queens Leah Remini was crucial to my sexual awakening

I finally deleted my Facebook the other day

 

Hell yeah! Congrats. I deleted mine a few years ago and it’s the best. It’s just such a toxic place and once you’re off it you realize how much you don’t care

 

When it comes down to it, people don’t give a shit about what you have to say and you don’t give s shit about what they have to say so what’s the point

 

Just went back to the day the album came out. So fun to read. Excitement was so palpable. What an incredible epic and insane day that was eh.

 

I recommend doing it but be warned prepared to be angered by you know who
