Love these harmonics and how "in the water" opens up.. such a nice set up.

Vocally this song is the best performance on the album. it's probably the best song on the album.

 

that organ sort of hides itself in those verses but then comes out to play in the choruses.

 

The guitar solo still surprises me to this day when it kicks in in 137. It's so well executed!

 

the higher harmony is definitely more buried in the first chorus right?

The production on ITW is immaculate...I mean it's great all over the record but this song in particular just sounds pretty. Still my favorite track off this album.

yea by this third chorus the high part takes over... this is again why they need KevDev.

 

Also the solo in this song is excellent too. Brand New going 3 in a row with great guitar solos isn't something I thought I'd ever see from them
