I feel like even though there are 90's vibes to Waste, in the beginning of the chorus they almost have a Beatles-esque sound

 

Yeah it definitely seems like it's getting some good airplay on Alt Nation. I heard Manchester the other day on Alt Nation I think they are in the Alt 18 not sure about CGIO tho

 

I get like a thrice type vibe on that song.. hard to explain, bc they don't really have a ton of stuff that sounds like that but I could almost hear Dustin singing that song.

 

I love the backing vocals of "Don't lose hope my son"

classic brand new upper octave harmony, also its so loud.. love it.. they don't bury their harmonies at all, sometimes they just feel like a duel vocal part.. probably why Kevin is doing them live

I could listen to Could Never Be Heaven on repeat.

 

I love how far in the background the lead guitar is in the second verse and second chorus.

 

can't join in the middle! would mess up my playcount list hahaha unless I go back and listen to the others after

Now that you mention it I definitely hear that. Shit I never thought about it buy yeah it could be a Thrice song.

I would love for Dustin to cover it.. ha I think he would sound great on that song

 

The guitar in the beginning and between the first and second verse of Same Logic is so simple, yet so effective

 

I love the "at the bottom of the ocean" delivery

Another song where when the bass kicks in it's amazing

 

The bridge in Waste is still a high point on the album

 

The bass on this record is so good

 

I did that once started it late at night on Waste cause I didn't think i'd play it all but ended playing the first 2 tracks after Batter up

 

How do some people not like this album???

I still haven't listened to the whole record on with a good pair of headphones. I definitely need to change that this week!
