We have Whataburger in AZ too. I don't like it that much tbh.

 

Yeah I know it's in other places. Just not much that's special about Texas.

We do have the special hot + humid combo that everybody loves. Haha. Everybody drives trucks. Including me (I didn't buy it was given to me its old).

 

Sandy misses Texas, so SpongeBob and Patrick decide to throw her a Texas themed surprise party to cheer her up. She's already made up her mind to go, so they start insulting Texas to get her mad enough to chase them back to the Krusty Krab, where the party is.

I'm also weighing how important to me it is to be at their last show. I guess I kind of want some sort of landmark to remember it all by. Tangential, but I blame Thursday for making me feel this way. I know they're probably gonna hang it up soon so really debating trying to make the holiday show just because it'd be cool to be apart of something like that.

I'm back at uni tomorrow for the final trimester of the year. Next year I'll be doing something totally different, I think it's the right thing for me at this point of my life but it's also terrifying. I didn't believe I would change my mind about my career path but here I am.

Btw, I can't believe this album has been out for a month already. I have so much attached to it already

 

I've had anxiety about trying to logistically go to their final show now for about a year. Like, trying to get tickets for THAT show is going to be 100x harder than any of their other shows, which is already really, really hard. Plus, planning the trip, spending the money, telling my wife 'hey have fun with 2 kids, I'm going on a Brand New vacation across the country,' etc.

 

Where do you think their last show will be? MSG?

 

My bet? Nassau Coliseum. I remember they played there in 2009 for their final show of the first Daisy tour. I went to it. And I remember Jesse in interviews talking about how special that venue was for him, and him seeing all his favorite musicians play there when he was a kid, plus I think, it's the closest big venue to where they're from, I think.

 

I'm seeing them twice this Fall.. in all reality if this is the last time I am okay with it, if I get another opportunity great.

 

Ideally, I'll try to go to 2-3 shows on their 'final' tour. Couldn't swing it for this upcoming tour.

Very intense discussion about the office, Jason was here talking about the exact moment it jumped the shark.

 

I loved HIMYM.

I loved it so much, and stuck with it through all the trash with the hope that they'd wrap it up well, that they'd give it a satisfying conclusion.

That entire final season, I kept saying to myself that things would wrap up well. Even up to the final episode, I believed they could pull it off.

In those last few minutes of the show, I realized how much of an absolute waste it was to keep paying attention to the show for all those years. I hated that ending so much, that it retroactively destroyed any modicum of joy the show ever gave me. I know this sounds like hyperbole, but dammit, I hate what they did with HIMYM. The alternate ending itself could have curbed my distaste a little, but it was too late by the time I saw it.

 

Do it!! Come to the Utah date if there is one!

 

Is it too late to shit on Big Bang Theory or...?

Also Science Fiction is the perfect night-driving album.
