I very rarely watch TV but I have some pretty bad opinions when it comes to it and I'm scared to ever share any favorite show lists because they'd have tons of recency bias and they just aren't the best

I've had to defend the Office with like one other person in here which I never would have anticipated. This is a safe place.

 

I can half defend the Ewoks. But only barely. But damn is the final Luke/Vader/Emperor scene something special.

Can't think of another blockbuster film where the protagonist takes a pacifist tactic and decides not to fight. I still get goosebumps.

 

They also kept pushing Dwight to be weirder and weirder to the point that he didn't even have a personality after a while.

 

Fun fact: The OC also has 92 episodes.

I'm pretty sure Jim destroyed his human spirit, which would help his descent make sense.

 

That first season of The OC has more storylines and drama than ten seasons of a regular show.

Ok @Bloodsucker II, The OC is the prime contender for Mad Men this coming summer.

HIMYM (first 4 seasons or something like that)

I'm totally blanking on the rest

 

See, now if that was the plan from the beginning and did it in am interesting way, I'd really enjoy that.
Like a Dennis Reynolds or Rickety Cricket type situation where he just slipped further into madness.

 

I've never seen HIMYM or Bojack, but the rest of those shows are pretty much considered among the best for their genres.

 

Even ignoring the finale, HIMYM is about 8000 times more frustrating than The Office because they could still knock it out of the park in the later seasons when they tried. How much more of a slap in the face was Zoe or season 9 when you knew they were still capable of stuff like Marshall's dad or Robin's imaginary kids or the time travelers episode?!

 

I need to rewatch The Sopranos, speaking of shows I really like and haven't seen in a while.

Lots of great TV these days makes it hard to go back. So much good in so many genres.

 

Bojack, sunny, stranger things and parks and recreation are all good.

 

I support a lot of these picks.

 

Pretty sure all of those shows are fairly well liked around here.

 

I agree. I have been behind on shows, still haven't seen the newest season of the Americans.

 

Haha, yes it did. We're mid-second season now. It's certainly not the greatest show ever but it's been pretty fun for the most part.
