Exactly what i'm thinking. Upon listening to this, those two tracks seem so throwaway compared. there is no way either of them would fit on this record at all. makes me wonder if those tracks were ever meant to be on a record at all.

Btw album is fantastic and i'm so happy about it.

Just finished. Trying to come to terms with the fact I'll (probably) never hear another new BN album again.

There's a lot to take in but holy shit is this good. A few lines here and there that I didnt care for but overall its killer. The riff on the last track is very Brand New for lack of a better term. Just sounds like exactly the kid of riff they'd write.

My mind draws a line to A Black Mile To The Surface: kind of a dark cinematic album. Very well put together and flows really well from start to finish. Very "grown up & mature". Pretty even keel throughout, with some great parts that they just go nuts on.

Gonna be spinning this non stop for quite a while

 

They're actually gonna release two records. The second one is gonna sound more like Mene and I Am A Nightmare.

 

Mene and IAAN still rule imo. Regardless of if they fit the sound of this record.
