I'm only a short way through but if the Deja comparisons are true then that wouldn't surprise me. Deja was better than TDAG in every way

 

I Am a Nightmare would sound soooo out of place on this

 

Obv need to listen to this a bunch but that was a great first listen. I don't know if I loved every song on it yet but as a longtime fan I'm not even close to disappointed.

 

what a fucking awesome, awesome album. so cathartic, so affectiing, so undeniably them. after all this time, any thoughts i had on this band in any particular direction fell by the wayside the second the record started. kudos to them for being able to get away with anything

Some of the voice samples sound straight out of Twin Peaks. Fucking love it.
