It's a really good record, but I feel like it's probably the one I revisit the least. Honestly, I'm due for another listen, it's been a while

I got a good one for you: Mike Mains & The Branches - Calm Down, Everything Is Fine

Short and a great album. Maybe not today but you should def check it out. I think it's fantastic personally.

Really enjoyed the record. I feel like I heard a lot of Beatles influence on it!

With OWEL you can't go wrong with either S/T or Dear Me. Both are excellent and well worth your time imo.

i think i would mark that as the outlier in their discography but not by much. they changed a lot per album in a way not dissimilar to brand new but i think all their records are identifiably them. i hope it rises in esteem for you!

We reach for the longest shadow

Anyone listen to Norma Jean? There's a song called The Nebula on there that sounds like it could've been an interlude on this album. Hadn't listened to that since Science Fiction came out and it was the first thing i thought.

oh, well, its the one from last year, Polar Similar, so it's not exactly new. It rips though if you haven't listened to it.

I listened to Redeemer and The Anti Mother the other day. Damn I loved that band, and a lot of their music still holds up from when they were in regular rotation for me.

I will. I don't always go looking for new music from some of those bands I bumped hard in high school, but I've been kind of craving some of that same stuff recently. I didn't listen to ETID back in the day, so they are kind of a new discovery for me. Low Teens reinvigorated my taste for that kind of music.

Low Teens really is great. That Norma Jean record came out around the same time and kind of got overshadowed for me, but I really enjoyed my listen through it today.
