Yeah I hope it's not a question of IF but WHEN. Glad I will get to see them in the fall even though it will prob turn out to be a pretty pricey trip. Totally worth it.

That's fair. I think specifically the sea (and the depths) are used to denote evil. You're correct, water is also used for positive things.

After missing out on last night's events, I'm kind of afraid to go to sleep too early tonight

 

Don't get me wrong I love Aaron in its own right but imo the other members of mewithoutYou are sooooo underrated man what a band. As good as any as far as what I like instrumentally/musically. I remember back in the day being on a site and finding an instrumental only version of Catch for us the foxes. I really regret not downloading it now. I literally could listen to any of their albums instrumentally and not be bored that's how good they are imo

I'd probably add O'Bro as well. That band is also just so good like the other members are as integral as Tanner and don't get me started with their tones. Too good

 

I need to see them again soon.

 

I used to be annoyed with them cause they always open for Thrice and I'd go to multiple dates for Thrice tours and I felt they just dragged. Endless Light won me over and made me a fan of everything they've done. Their tones are unreal.

 

Garden Window is still my favorite O'Brother album but Endless Light is great. They're near the top of my list of favorite live acts.

 

Sadly i have yet to see them :( That needs to change. One day hopefully

 

The Death of Day is just as good as anything they have done. Incredible release.

 

I'm in the Cleveland/Akron area and they come around here once every year or two. The last time I saw them they opened for The Dear Hunter, which was pretty great. I've seen them open up for Thrice & MO too but that was a while ago

 

I still can't help but wonder who the openers will be on BN's fall tour...I wonder when we will find out
