I remember hearing those demos (I think?) that they put out and, as a fan of The Movielife and not really into that kind of music, being like WTF!? But also liking it.

 

I've never really heard much of The Smiths in Deja either, ha. Obviously I'm not exactly a huge fan of that album though so I probably don't have the best ear for what it sounds like or what sounds like it. In fact I'm pretty bad at that in general, ha.

I love The Cheever Letters episode. That scene when George and Susan are eating with her parents and they break the news to her dad that the cabin burnt...gets me every time!

Ok so I know it was a funny little meme in here some time ago with the "who is Geoff Rickly" posts, but I seriously listened to Full Collapse for the first time ever today while doing some Sunday housekeeping stuff.

And holy shit I messed up big by ignoring Thursday for my entire teenage existence.

 

I never cared for Thursday and then a year or two ago my friend put on no devolucion and it rocked

Jason explained this ages ago so bear with me if I get it wrong, by basically, websites make money if someone goes to Amazon from their page. Even though it's chorus.fm now, the code is still absolutepunk.

 

Gonna have to check this out. I didn't know this existed!

So many great episodes though, hard to pick a favorite.

 

I got it last Christmas. It was a really good read!! She interviewed a lot of the writers from the show and did a lot of really good research!

 

I'm adding it to my list!

On a sidenote, I see there's an upcoming Netflix special called (I think) "Jerry Before Seinfeld" Looks like it could be pretty interesting

 

My friends and I used to do Festivis every year. We pretty much stopped doing it after my brother tore his ACL doing the Feats of Strength in 2007. He's had 5 surgeries and still walks with a cane. He almost had his leg amputated from complications after receiving cadaver tendons.

Moral of story, don't try Seinfeld at home kids
