I used to be this way back in high school but now I'd rather just listen to music 90% of the time when I'm home

There were times back in HS where I would do both at the same time but older me doesn't find that pleasant.

 

Even back in the day they were what they were.

I should clarify I don't watch much normal TV.

I watch sports all the time.


When Football/Basketball/Hockey/College Basketball are on durinf the same time period my TV is on all the time haha

Talking about TV because of TV episodes named after The Early November and Brand New

 

Adtr plays it too safe. They know they can keep a steady fanbase and sell records without challenging themselves, so they just kinda do the same thing over and over again.

I agree with this. Very inconsistent band. Like hipster opinion but I really dislike Homesick. My least favorite album by them by far.

Also Bad Vibrations was awful.

One Tree Hill is hilariously bad, but had an amazing soundtrack. Like, Jimmy Eat World and Jack's Mannequin both "performed" on that show, and they gave exposure to a ton of great artists/songs. One of the first places I ever heard Butch Walker.

That first Fray album still holds up. The third one is also legitimately great. The fourth one was hot garbage.

At least to season two, episode 21.

 

Three pretty good shows right there.

 

Yeah, I think I got to season 3 or 4? I watched that and The OC for awhile and discovered a ton of new music through both. Except The OC was actually good for a couple seasons, and One Tree Hill was just so bizarre. Like, they took it so seriously and just had the most outlandish shit happen all the time. Every main cast character was involved in at least one car wreck. One guy had like three. It was sort of like how in Smallville, Clark's pickup truck got blown up like five times.

 

Daisy is better than California, that's for sure.

 

My wife and I are watching the OC now! Just started season two a couple nights back. I saw it when it first aired but she never saw it.

That Rooney concert in season one was pretty entertaining!
