Put songs in iTunes, right click on said songs, choose "make available on iCloud" and boom your done

 

I'm really not understanding people's struggles with adding local music to Apple Music haha

 

It's convoluted

 

How? just add it to your library and it'll upload, then you download it on your phone

 

My computer is extremely slow and would probably crash if I added Apple Music to it lol

 

I mean, I get that in theory, but I always run into issues with it

So are you subscribed to Apple Music but not using iCloud Music Library, is that the deal?

I mean, maybe it's just because I subscribed to iTunes Match for a couple years and Apple Music runs very similarly, but it seems like a straightforward system.

 

I doubt BN has another album out this year. Maybe a B sides collection way down the road. I wonder who else is on that label (Besides Kevin Devine)

 

Basically, I had a ton in my local library and then I subscribed to Apple Music and started using iCloud music library on my phone. I haven't plugged my phone into my computer (which has my local library) in like half a year since I haven't needed to until Science Fiction came out. So my phone has it enabled but my computer doesn't and I'm pretty sure my computer would crash if I enabled iCloud music library since I don't think it could handle downloading all those albums at once

 

Hmmm. I mean, maybe, it does have to go through your entire local library to match/upload everything which I assume is what you're saying. That's a pretty unique situation though.

 

I dunno man. Kevin Devine for sure has a release coming. And this album has a pretty definitive sense of finality

Greater Pyrenees (new-ish project from Colour Revolt's Sean Kirkpatrick). They might have an album next year (or very late this year), I went to one of their shows and they said they were working on one.

It's funny because I remember people saying the same thing about Daisy (especially with Noro) and all the rumors swirling around that it was their final album.

But at least this time we have, like, pretty much all the confirmation we need from the band/their merch/the music.

I don't know how quite to explain it, but I've been like... processing this album really differntly from others I've heard recently. Maybe because it still doesn't feel real, but when I think about it I know how much I like it, but it feels honestly like a weird dream I had, not like something that exists and I've listened to.

 

Just gave A Black Mile a long overdue listen. Def need to integrate that one in my rotation more well who am I kidding, lately the rotation has been only one album but that needs to change. Don't want to overplay it.
