You should have been around for when TDAG leaked. Everyone was freaking out over the track being titled Archers or The Archer's Bow Has Broken haha

Thanks man! Been pondering a change for awhile but that album still resonates so I've just left it haha.

Wow that Stereogum review was really fucking good. Also enjoyed the Vulture one and Aaron's review here too of course.

oh yeah forgot to say @Aaron Mook great review. agreed that the lengthier style works, esp for you. makes your stuff feel very personal

havent read the vulture review yet but i love all of craig's writing, and i assume james rettig wrote the stereogum one (haven't checked yet) and i like his stuff too

I have to work for a while, but I'm looking forward to Aaron's review. I'm sure it's not a first impression listen/review

I remember the radio station... and putting that crappy rip into my MP3 player that probably only held like 60 songs haha. Why did that radio station play the song? Kinda strange in retrospect.

I wish I could see these songs live now. Sooo excited for the tour.

The Archer's Bow Has Broken the correct name IMO.

Same with Jesus Christ instead of Jesus.

Limousine I don't care either way

So the album title, I know they had some science fiction movie quotes and what not leading up to release. But what else do we think it could mean? Could it point towards how our reality right now feels like science fiction. Technology is insanely crazy, and there are things in this world that almost don't seem real?

Wasn't there a theory that Archers and The Archers Bow Has Broken were two different songs? Or that the title was changed because of John Nolan? Hazy memory here

I think it's just movie related and not as deep as some people are making it

I think at one point on AP Jason had a news post stating the album would be called "And One Head Can Never Die" then they released the name Daisy like an hour or two later I think haha. Think they told Jason then changed their mind

People speculated it was "and one head can never die" or something like that. It was it one head can never turn. Can't remember.

    Found it

"But this album isn't "hip" at all to me it's just pop rock with some sound bytes. It's very very good but it's structured rock songs"

    HERESY

Actually now that I think about it The Almost and all of Aaron's music is low tier.

  22. Other way around: they were to call it AOH, they told me to announce it on a day, the night before they told a crowd at a show, it went online, we posted it, then later that night they changed to Daisy, told me, and I posted it and no one believed me.

It's because its totally science fiction that this is even a real album, and is this good
