Whenever I'm in the US I seem to miss then playing by a few days or so haha. Yeah same when I saw them at the Glee club in Birmingham a few years ago I think that was under 500 people too!

To be fair, I was listening to this when I went to bed last night. So I guess technically it put me to sleep too. But I sleep to like Norma Jean and Thrice too so that doesn't mean much.

 

I'm sorry to hear that, care to share any thoughts why?

 

Haha. There's a good reason I just never visit Facebook. Probably bad for growth of Chorus, very good for my mental health.

 

I'm so glad I have you guys. It's been so hard describing the excitement of all of this to non-BN people. Album just continues to floor me.

 

It "sucks" because they weren't able to get the limited vinyl right?> haha

 

As an update, Little Selkies #2 made his way in last night at 11. Listened to his first Brand New record this morning while mommy was showering. Now it's onto Toh Kay; my first sons favorite band.

 

I was thinking this just yesterday. Only a couple of my friends like them but nowhere near as much as me so they don't share my excitement haha.

 

It did absolutely nothing for me. I'm not seeing all the hype, but I haven't liked anything since TDAG. Daisy was trash and I haven't enjoyed any of the singles they've released off and on. I guess the band just lost me. Sorry, lads. We can't all like Brand New.

 

Any ideas on where this might chart?

 

This album is most reminiscent of Deja, TDAG, and the Demos really. It should float your boat.

To each his own though.

You lost me with "daisy is trash", sorry you don't like the band anymore, but it's weird to me to see someone who doesn't like the band come in here and be negative. There are a ton of bands I'm not fans of, so I don't post in their threads. To each their own.

im all for not coming into threads just to be negative etc but this is such a huge release from a huge band in the scene so people are gonna be more likely to share their opinions. theres also been a few posts asking if anyone doesn't enjoy it since the overall reception has been positive so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
