Tickets were a discgrace as always, it makes me genuinely concerned for what's going to happen at their last show ever.

They better be smart and do it at Msg or have their own mini festival with 20000+ tickets or it's not gonna be pretty.

When I saw Lana Del Rey in a small venue you had to have your ID, email confirmation, same credit card and it was will call only that you had to get the day of the show. It was kind of a shit show, though and wouldn't work at a larger venue since the will call process took forever

 

$80 on stub hub for chicago. That's not too bad

 

damn, people are really buying the $400 platinum tickets in Brooklyn. there were 12 and now there are 4.

 

Actually reminds me more of Black Keys or a pure rock band, in that I want to hear this song reverberate in an amphitheater. Best sounding I ever heard Brand New was at an amphitheater.

Same for Liam Gallagher in Manchester here a couple months back as it was a tiny show for his standards. Needed the printed ticket and a photo ID to enter. Took a while to get into the venue but I think worth it.

 

the outro to same logic sounds very much like could never be heaven. interesting.

 

if you didn't get tickets turn on Twitter notifications for them. they have been good in the past getting tickets back from scalpers and tweet when they do.

 

i appreciate the reappearance of "noro"-voice in the "at the bottom of the ocean" part of "same logic"

 

This is the same logic that got us into trouble the first time.

 

No Control is my 2nd fav track. The pinkerton guitar tone in the chorus ughhhyyessss

 

I can hear a lot of Black Keys now you mention it! I just really hear Bowie when Jesse sings "lightning!" in the chorus haha. I love how diverse the album is in both how it sounds and who influenced the songs.

 

Rumor has it if you say "lit me up" with your eyes closed 3 times, LP6 will appear in your microwave.

 

Every time I listen to lit me up I expect him to say lift me up and vice staples to break in

 

Yeah most of the song gave me that vibe (Black Keys) as well. The intro sounded like ZZ Top though, ha

 

Or the band Lit will.

 

And the Microwave will start and cause your house to burn on fire

 

I wouldn't hate this.
