I have no clue who this Martha band is but i'll check them out. Currently listening to a band called Luca Brasi.

No but it will most likely be in January, Feb or March.

 

Ok so it was a bit hyperbolic. Winter Soldier is good....it just doesn’t have too much replay value for me. It wanted to have stakes, but there really wasn’t any. The plot Armor was suuuuper thick.


And while there really wasn’t any real stakes to Thor: Ragnorak..... it didn’t really pretend there was. It never took itself seriously and I liked it for that

I just saw the stupidest take. Some girl in my local music scene was complaining on twitter because a band asked if they could do a show together. She said it was disrespectful because if you're a good musician you don't have to ask for shows.

yeah. I was so happy I was able to see them in Houston on the tour they did. It was awesome, they've been my favorite band for 15 years and I've seen them like 5 times and even after a break up for years they came back strong.

 

So I love Taika, and I’m the same way, Marvel movies are very bland for me. But yeah, Taika is awesome so I was curious with this one. The first half of the movie I loved, and the rock guy that is actually voiced by Taika Waititi was my favorite part of the movie. I think for me, the more the plot developed though, the more it started to feel like a marvel super hero movie and then it started losing me. I did think it was hilarious though.

 

What about guardians of the galaxy. that was probably my favorite one.

 

when I hear the band name Martha this is what I pictured.

 

Pretentious as fuuuuck. Supporting and promoting each other and actively seeking opportunities to play together is just common courtesy among local bands, or at least it should be.
