Okay wait what the fuck Limousine is the best song of all time

 

Is it really getting stuck thought or just enjoying good music?

Because to me those are two of the best albums of all time (Both in my top 15)

 

Limousine is the best song this band has ever written.

 

Lol, the at the bottom of the ocean line reminds me of Adam Drivers singing in this...

 

So Brand Mew basically put a punk pop musical meme at the end of No Control

 

People can whatever opinions they like about music but .... man ....

 

Small nitpick, I don't think it's accurate to say we waited eight years for the album. That would imply that, like the moment Daisy came out, you were all just like, "okay but when is the next one coming". Even for the people who didn't like Daisy, that's some extreme impatience haha.

That's all I have to complain about in regards to this album.

 

Can't Get It Out and No Control both give off strong Kevin Devine vibes and I love it.

There's a part in In The Water after the chorus that sounds a little bit like the chorus to You Got Cool by Mansions. Well, it bought that song to my mind anyway.

 

I revisited Daisy last night and that song still bores me to death to this day. Vices, Be Gone and In a Jar are just okay imo, but the remaining 7 songs are great.

 

I love this album so much. I couldn't believe what I was hearing when it was on for the first time. I did not have high hopes for this but I was so wrong.

Limousine is the centerpiece of the record. Its dynamic musical journey encapsulates the beauty of the record. The first musical shift of the record is ethereal. It flows like waves.

 

Still kicking myself for not ordering the white vinyl yesterday. I wasn't sure how limited it was. Plus I had already ordered the first limited option then I went and preordered the standard vinyl yesterday as well. Add $110 for a pair of concert tickets and I've spent over $200 on Brand New in the last couple days.

 

We all agreed that Daisy sucked so I could understand losing interest in anything further from the band. But they always gravitated to that early era when Devil has always been my favorite.

 

Could never imagine them doing a song like Lit Me Up, even after TDAG and Daisy, but I'm absolutely floored by it. This album cements their best of all time status for me, not because it's like album of the decade or anything, but because beyond post-Revolver Beatles I can't really think of a band with as varied/dynamic/cohesive discography as Brand New. Each album, even YFW, has its own purpose.

 

137, Out Of Mana, 451 could be Vins best performances in Brand News whole discography lol

 

At the bottom of the ocean, fish might still judge you a little for liking YFW best

 

I revisited Daisy last night as well and we'll all I could really enjoy was Daisy the song and Moro :(

I really wish I enjoyed that album man but it's hard to sit through for some reason.

What if songs like 137 and 451 are just numbers because they are numbered songs, like "Untitled 451" and they just left it and that means brand new had like 500 songs that we'll never hear
