im just kidding!!!! im sorry, im such an ass. i couldnt resist. it wouldve been a lot funnier if i wouldve said like "The Smiths covers" but i was just mean.


when an album is too long to fit on one record, they will do a double LP (often times youll see like "2xLP), so they can fit everything. there is only so much space on that physical format! also, they say that the closer the record gets to the middle, the lower the sound quality (this is audiophiles saying this, its not like it sounds actually bad by any means). so sometimes even when the album could fit on one record, they put it on two.

Thanks for the info! I just assumed that both sides of a record could fit everything, especially since this isn't over 60 minutes or anything. Wild. Didn't know how any of that worked or how much space / time a vinyl could fit.

 

yeah, i dont actually remember how much space is on one sideA/sideB of a record... but like i said, sometimes they just do it on two for fun too lol.

 

i mean, it is a little over an hour.

22 minutes is an average running time for the side of a 12", but it can vary; anything past 25-30 min tho and you run the risk of jeopardizing the quality

 

Yeah dude, I had a similar thing happen. I am usually very calm and understanding with retail workers cause I used to work for AT&T. But like this T-Mobile dude had screwed up my account so bad about two years ago and was just like “yeah it’s our fault but you are stuck with the result” I lost it at the guy....

Pretty good. I got sick so I stayed home from work Thursday and Friday and played Tomb Raider all day.

Clarity might be my GOAT. Like I love Damage and Damage is my favorite JEW record probably, but Clarity is the GOAT. I don’t know if what I’m saying makes any sense

Like today I was like “I think I might like futures as a song more than 23, but 23 is definitely in my top 10 JEW songs while I don’t know if futures is” doesn’t make any sense
