I hate T-Mobile. I’m trying to upgrade to the X but this dude in customer support is trying to tell me that since I paid off my last device a year ago when I upgraded to my 7Plus that I am not eligible for their stupid Jump upgrade program and have to pay off my current phone to get it. None of which makes sense for what the people in the store tell me. Death to wireless companies

 

Phones are too expensive and mobile providers rip us all off

 

I actually have a work phone that I didn’t buy and don’t pay for so I don’t know what I’m complaining about

Hmm. I have T-Mobile and a 7+ and got a notification saying I can upgrade to the X. I haven’t even paid off the 7+ but I paid off the previous device I had. I never understand how this stuff works though

 

They don’t understand it either. Every person I talk to at T-Mobile gives me a different answer. I am on their Jump On Demand lease plan or something like that, which is supposed to mean I can upgrade three times a year, but thisndude is claiming that I messed it up last year when I got the 7-plus.....

 

This is the truth. I worked for a provider and can confirm, cellular providers are terrible, evil corporations

 

Are you talking to someone at a store or at their customer support line? Cause I find that the people at the stores know next to nothing

Customer support line, but if I really did mess something up when I upgraded last year, it was the store persons fault

 

Without getting into it, I had someone in the store fuck up on something with my bill and it took like four months to solve lol. I mean, it never even really got “solved” I just ended up paying off my phone lump sum cause I didn’t wanna deal with it but, yeah.
