I really don't think it's that bad.

 

Butterfingers are great, but they're no Reese's. Also, Reese's Pieces are the best Reese's. Don't @ me.

 

I like caramel more than the wafers in kit kat, and I think I just got burnt out on twix. used to be my go to candy bar.

 

I enjoy butterfingers but they get stuck in your teeth like crazy

 

It's annoying and it's clear he means it consistently in a derogatory sense. He adds no substance to any conversation and genuinely enjoys being a thorn in my side.

I don't take it as derogatory as much as just referring to all US people as 'Yanks' I think it's just a normal term for us.

I agree he does enjoy being a thorn in your side so don't let him. just block him or ignore him or something.

I had my fair share of disagreements with him in the brand new general thread during bracket season, so I get the annoyance.

I didn't see him calling anybody names other than referring to the whole us population as yanks, never even heard him call us stupid yanks.

I don't know if he'd be offended by the work 'mick' or not, but just based on his personality from his posts I doubt it.

They’re a band I haven’t really listened to much in the past few years, but I did a recent deep dive through their discography and they do have some great stuff.

 

I don't understand how you don't catch the derogatory context he talks in consistently and has quite a few times.

 

I will gladly trade any left over nasty Twix I have for butterfingers or Anything Reese's branded.

I just did a search because I thought maybe I missed something, and found like 7 posts of him using 'yank', he also used 'brits' once. Is he generalizing all US people sure and maybe talking down a little, but it didn't seem like anything other than him being a little obnoxious.

report him if you feel like it's crossed a line though.

I don't care, I'm not trying to defend him. I like this thread and he's one of the few people outside of North america that I've noticed.
