I remember seeing them open for Say Anything back in the day! Last time I tried to listen to that record I really wasn’t feeling it though. I’ll have to give it another shot.

Absolutely love all the Julien Baker talk in here. She’s amazing and if you havnt listened, do yourself a favor and check out one of the best albums put out this year.

 

I've only heard their first single but I remember his voice being good. The "change my intent, good intentions" I might have the lyrics wrong

I bought Science Fiction on CD today! Curious to see how it charts with the physical release

 

I think it would have done a lot better if they had gotten those limited vinyl's out to people. thats 5000 right there.

 

Did we ever find out if those pre-orders were included in the first week sales back in August? I assumed they were, considering we were sent the Digital Download that week.

 

well the downloaded digital download counts as a sale and the vinyl itself counts as a sale. So once those vinyl's are shipped they are counted. But yea the digital downloads from the first week were counted the physical vinyls were not.

 

Just so we're on the same page, I ordered the Limited Vinyl LP - but was sent the Digital Download a few days later (as part of my vinyl purchase). Are you saying I (or anyone who ordered the pre-order LP) was counted for 2 sales? The digital download sent to us and then again for the vinyl that will ship out? That doesn't make sense to me.
