Those are fantastic Halloween costumes!

 

It was mostly just a formality.

I've been told that I left the company in good standing and if I need a job with **** ever again, it'll be easy to get.

 

I hope it turns out good, we have like nothing for it yet haha, I have the day off tomorrow so I need to get it all together

 

Big reason why I like it, it's sad and depressing in ways, makes you feel but also makes you feel like this isn't the end, just a hardship. Like an album asking to be your companion through whatever hardship(s) you need it for. Gotta love that.

 

I think I’m going to be Hopper from Stranger Things. I have the hairline for it (albeit a little thicker than his... okay a lot thicker) and I for sure have the gut for it. Should be an easy costume to put together

A dude dressed as Darth Vader also robbed a bank here once, Long Island is bizarro world. Tbh some dude fucking his horse just sounds like some Hamptonite elitist that lost it all that refuses to go back to "the commoners" so he fucks his horse instead lol.

 

It's comforting to have an album like this, that's for sure. I read a great interview with her on The AV Club (which I'll share in the Turn Out The Lights thread) where she said something that stood out to me:

This is why I appreciate her cus while as much as my personal depression may be in fact very self defeating.. even in my own poetry I may beat life and myself down for 75 lines but the last 5 is the "fuck you ima survive again" attitude.
"Survive. Despite." is my life ethos so I always appreciate that sentiment in music and any art, really.

Well... my dad is a freak of nature so don't bank on his returns, he use to cut his own bad teeth out of his head with no flinch, 2 cracked skulls from bar fighting - no hospital stay lol.

I may have breasts, but they don't produce milk, so I can't give the baby what she needs when she wakes up. I tend to sleep through it. So I'm good unless it's a diaper change or one of my other kids waking up.
