But I’m on good terms with my stepdad. He showed me a lot of music that opened the door for a lot of stuff for me

 

For some reason everytime i hear the term brackets the first thing I think about is practice and Allen Iverson

Got two stepkids myself. Love them as much as my son!

 

My stepfather is the only true parent I love with my whole heart, and the only role model I ever had aside from my sister. People that are like this, who consider their loved one's kids as their own, are great selfless people. I commend you.

I have to be there for him tomorrow for the first time ever instead of the other way around, at his brother's wake. Idk how to handle seeing him upset again. He cried to me a few days ago when I found out and I was so anxious I almost threw up.

Idk much about step parents or step siblings, but I have a half-sister. She's half-great. I half-love her.

 

My sister and I have different fathers, but it's totally irrelevant to our relationship. We grew up together, she's my sister and my most loved person on this planet.

Lady friend says "can you get off your phone now?" If she keeps this up dessert is a no go.

 

So....what are we talking about? I skipped through like three pages and all I saw was a big ass cheese between two slices of bread and some dad talk

that’s not a joke. I mean, it is a joke in that I’m not actually upset and I just want to make you uncomfortable because I’ve never had the opportunity to do that lol. He really is dead though

 

Their dad is a complete deadbeat so they call me Dad , and we have them 7 days a week. He only sees them about one every 3 weeks at most. Hopefully they love me the way that you love your stepdad when they're your age

 

I also have a half-sister, but she's 7 years older and my dad (her "step"-dad) married our mom when she was 2 or 3, so it's never been a huge thing for us either. She's as much my sister and my other "full" sister. She recently wanted to find her biological father and talk to him after our mom passed away, but he apparently also passed away sometime in the early 2000's, and none of us knew because he never kept in contact with our family/my mom after she was born.
