No, the kingjohn effect (so cleverly named by the man himself) is that the thread is always more active and entertaining when he’s around.

I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but there does appear to be some correlation.

My wife is into those baking championship shows so we’ve been watching the Halloween Baking Championship show on (I think) Food Network. It’s actually been pretty enjoyable if I’m being honest

I was just sitting down to watch some football and baseball with a big bag of Ruffles and a carton of French Onion Dip. Then my boss called and told me I needed to go repair an oil rig a hour outside of town. I missed everything!

-surprise LP drop with merch + a multitude of pressings
-Kevin Devine joins BN indefinitely, making this one Andy Hull away from a "scene" supergroup.
-revamped stage presence, let's not pretend like we've forgotten how amazing seeing the new lighting and background at H&L Fest was for the first time.

It is a strange demise thus far. One none of us expected, including Jason. As happy as we are with the road to the band's grave right now, there is a nagging voice in my head saying they still have a few tricks up their collective sleeve.

 

yeah guac, ranch dip, salsa, nacho cheese. all of those are great, I'm generally a fan of dip.

For sure. All the other guys at my work are old and can't work on engines that have computers in them. It scares and frustrates them haha

I make some super spicy salsa, I love it, just eat it with sour cream.

burritos with eggs, beans and shredded cheese with fresh salsa are the best.
