I'm guilty of sometimes taking for granted Canadian bands but I will definitely get around to it. After seeing Brand New though now all I want to listen to is Brand New and it's really hard not to. It's a problem because I've been neglecting everything else but I can't help it. They are my favorite band after all so wtv.

It's understandable. That record is really really worth checking out though. It's one of if not my favorite release of theirs

Such a great album. They really explored some new sounds and themes. I love it.

Yes I do but that's another band I don't listen to as often as I should.

hate it when I'm in my cubicle and put on headphones and not 5 minutes later people come up to talk to me. or I get a meeting invite or something.

yesterday a couple people complained because my headphones were too loud. WIsh i could work from home more often/all the time.

Not to sound like a typical douche but I'm probably going vegan because of "Lower Order/A Good Laugh", it hit me that hard

That doesn't make you a douche. Making fun of someone/judging someone for making that decision would be being a douche.

When I was younger I became a vegetarian because of a video on my "enhanced CD" for Goldfinger. Remember those?

Just manning the office of a storage lot lol. Nothing impressive. Sometimes its so slow i just drive around in the golf cart listening to chill music for my mental health solo time lol.

Lol nope, all I remember of Goldfinger is that Superman song playing endlessly in the underground Tony Hawk level

I don't mean being vegan/vegetarian is douchey, I mean announcing it in a way to guilt other people is douchey. I hate that our first instinct these days is to run to Facebook and say "hey everyone I'm going vegan, please make helpful suggestions and argue your unresearched opinion below", and I was like, wait I don't really have to do that, I can do the one thing that an individual CAN do when they're tired of their species harvesting other species for protein, and that is stop financially supporting the meat industry. So I hope to do that completely by 2018, without being self-righteous about it.

I'm not going to lie, there have been days where I'll start listening to something and 3 hours later I realize that it ended and everybody went home, and I hadn't gotten any work done.

    those are the good days.

    :-O

I think you'd like them. The good kind of pop-punk, but with some definite alt-rock leanings. They're now defunct, and ex-members have a couple different bands (The Apology Tour and Baggage).

This is the last song they recorded, for a benefit for the Flint water-crisis:

And some stuff up on their Bandcamp that you could check out, including this EP which was their second to last release (not including b-sides and the song mentioned above):
