I... actually had to google that hahah. I honestly don't watch much TV. I'm a high school teacher so I generally get home, cook, mark, watch netflix till I fall asleep. Repeat. Wait for school holidays.

 

It's on Netflix! Get on it!

 

I'll check it out while I wait for new Better Call Saul!

"451" is awesome because of how revved up it feels at the end of the album. It's like the band's a fighter jet coming in for a red alert landing without the wheels down, hoping the spray foam on the runway is enough to hold everything together. Then the key change hits and it's like the point of impact--flames on the tarmac.

 

hard to still think its just meh after reading that lol

but Batter Up is one of my album favorites actually.

 

I've really got to buckle down and write about this album. Maybe tonight.

I see that now! I'm shocked I didn't see it sooner. I follow them all on FB, and have a ton of friends who love the show too!

 

I haven't watched the last few seasons because the quality dropped significantly after the original run but I'm definitely gonna do a re-watch of 1-7 starting tonight!

 

Haha I lurk more than I post, I suppose. You guys are so far from band convo most of the time that's fascinating to watch where the conversation goes.

Can't wait until Jesse makes a country singer-songwriter album.

My son was playing his toy xylophone with a maraca this morning. Rhythm and melody at the same time! The kid might be a musical genius.

 

I was a little let down by the QOTSA album, but I saw them last month and the new songs translated really well live.
