Also worth noting how awful Aragon was. Sound-wise and exiting-wise, was a mess. Don't think I'd go back unless it was another Brand New type situation.

 

I've brought this up so many times but it's been lost in the 8,473,673 pages in here, but I'm DYING to know how old (or new) all these songs off SF are. The fact that Jesse admits that Same Logic was written 12 years ago is crazy to me. I figured many of these songs were probably 5-6 years old, but now I'm REALLY wondering how old/new each song is.

I will go to my grave investigating this.

 

Imagine if can't get it out was originally written for deja or something haha... or one of these songs is from some other missing collection between deja and devil and god, we may never know.

I was house left/stage right about 2/3 of the way back. I was by myself so I was able to squeeze in.

If you shave Bigfoot, you will find that all the correct lyrics to all of Brand New's songs have been tattooed into his skin.

 

So doornail isn’t enough syllables does he say it twice or is there another word there?

Where did you find this information about the production on Science Fiction that you were posting about earlier? Trying to catch up on stuff I missed last night.

Edit: Nevermind. I think I've found the source of this conversation. I'm guessing that tweet about the vinyl? I just can't read any of those liner notes.

 

Hopefully they'll just keep dropping little pieces at every show until we finally get the whole story!

 

@Kingjohn_654 They didn't have any bigfoot shirts last night. I wanted one, too. Was surprised they had any in Detroit since they're from a UK tour from a couple years ago.

 

someone posted a clearer liner note somewhere. I think brand new archives have it

 

for the people at these shows, how loud were they? normal concert volume or like scary loud haha?

 

imagine recording an album in 5 studios and having it sound this cohesive.. it all exists in this wonderful space that feels so connected and complete

Anyone got a guess for how many records Brand New has shelved and never released? It's gotta be at least 3 or 4 at this point.

 

Front to back proper records, or how many albums based on the total amount of songs that never saw the light of day?

 

Last night was the first and possibly only time I'll ever see this band live. It was a good one.
