I feel like I’m on a completely different wavelength than most Panic! fans.

 

Roaring 20s (the two best songs on the album. But Roaring 20s is like jam of the year so I gotta go with that. What a tough choice though)

The Overpass (pretty easy choice, Hey look ma is a good but not great)

Dying in LA (another easy choice)

(Fuck A) Silver Lining (tough one, both solid songs)

Finally got to listen to the album so I can participate now. Such a fun record. One of the main things I noticed was improvement/experimentation in bridges compared to DOAB. I think Roaring 20s is my favorite song on here.

 

1. Roaring 20s (this song is an absolute jam)

2. The Overpass (insane track, love the urgency and shift in the bridge, could see it as being a better penultimate track; Hey Look Ma could do great on radio)

3. Dying in LA (One of the Drunks is one of the weaker tracks in my opinion, one that hasn’t really stuck with me)

4. (Fuck A) Silver Lining (tough, love the prechorus and bridge of High Hopes but leaned this way because of the repetition of the chorus, which is still good)

(Fuck A) Silver Lining - As much as I am bitter that King of the Clouds got knocked out, I prefer Silver Lining slightly more than High Hopes

Hey Look Ma, I Made It (I’m a bit indifferent to both songs, but I like this one more)

Dying in LA (easy pick)

High Hopes (one of the catchiest P!ATD tracks to date - I expect a little extra opposition because it’s a single, but oh well)


I missed the last several rounds because I was on a family vacation, but I’m back for the rest of this!

It's probably my third favorite song on the album.

I guess...this is what it feels like...

 

Missed first round again. Roaring 20s vs. Old Fashioned would've been tough for me cus I really like Old Fashioned now, but happy with it.

Bracket should come down to Dancing's Not a Crime and Silver Lining in my humble opinion.

 

I've been really trying to like One of the Drunks, but can't find any redeeming qualities for the song. Maybe with even more spins...

EDIT: Then again, I have trouble finding redeeming qualities for Hey Look Ma and Roaring 20s as well. I think I am in the minority in thinking that though.
