Welp I’m already hooked, adore the acapella opener

 

Every listen I switch between the three who I think is shining “the most” when in reality it’s all three of them killing it lol

This is pretty great. It feels a little more like a collection of songs by the 3 of them than a true band than I was hoping for, but most of these songs are awesome and I'm sure the more collaborative parts will reveal themselves as I listen more.

Feel like a fool for thinking Julien was the weak link, she's an all star here. Need to give her discog a chance.

thanks to whoever sent the thing about the film premiere in LA, I showed up last minute and got in! Kristen Stewart gave a speech, they played the film, and then did a Q+A w the band. It was very cute. Phoebe told a story about shitting in a sandbox.

Phoebe does seem like the most cat-like of the 3, so this tracks to me.

i went from half paying attention to “we’re in love” to crying in record time. eyes still aren’t all that dry at the end of the record

 

Every song rules but Satanist is currently my favorite.
