There is no artist I find to be less compelling than Haim.

Haim is a cool addition, their album from last year rules

Dont know anything by any of them. I had heard of Haim, but honestly, I didnt know they were 3 sisters.

That means you have a great opportunity to check out 3 new artists

Foos, Rage, RTJ and Haim is already pretty tempting for me to grab an early bird pass and plan a trip next year. Im not familiar with those other two artists but I'll check out their stuff.

Someone on reddit claims to have an inside source and said Post Malone is the third headliner. Don't know if it's true but figured it would end up either being him or Billie

The Chili Peppers announced they have a US tour next year with some dates in June... And US dates picking up in July.

Just in case anybody was hoping they'd be added back in as headliner #3 it looks highly unlikely. Post Malone or Billie Eilish would make a lot more sense than a third alt-rock act, anyway.

The Strokes doing pretty much every date on that RHCP tour on the east coast except Boston makes me think they might be a possibility for Boston Calling.

Rage-Foos-Strokes would be an insane top 3.

I could also see them booking a hip-hop or pop act as the last headliner and having the Strokes be direct support (meaning they headline a stage opposite them that same day).

Boston Calling is May, right? And looking at the RHCP tour, all thats missing is Strokes, yeah. Dunno whats up wit h that. Weird.

Yup. Memorial Day weekend. Maybe they have something else going on the date of the RHCP show but... Just seems super conspicuous.

Given that they've ended "early bird" pricing and have shifted over to "holiday" pricing, I'm feeling like we'll get a line-up drop sometime soon. Maybe not the full line-up, but I gotta figure that we'll be getting a few more before the year's end...

Looks like we'll be getting a line-up for 2022 this week.

Either we still have Rage or they were able to find a replacement faster than Coachella

With Metallica being on bottlerock maybe they will replace rage if rage isn’t playing anymore

I was thinking the same thing. It's probably Foo Fighters/The Strokes/Metallica if that's the case

Are we sure Rage is dropping? It's still really unclear to me the reason they pulled from Coachella. It would seem odd to just blanket cancel the entire tour so far out when we're in scenarios where 1 month can (theoretically) make a huge difference (based on what certain experts are saying about how Omicron will play out).

EDIT: To be clear, while it would seem a bit odd. It also wouldn't surprise me. I just haven't seen anything other than fan theories so wasn't sure if there was something more concrete out there.

I just saw on Inforoo that they're out of Coachella cause the drummer is getting surgery. Not sure if that'll affect any other dates

Apparently he already had the surgery last month and recovery time is 3/4 months

So is Rage off Boston Calling then?
