Someone posted some of these mixtape songs on reddit back in March, but there were no song titles. Star Mouth was the first One I heard and I couldn’t wait to see the title. Still very underwhelmed. Still cool though.

Like that JV mentions Gallum in Wicker. Literally the first thing I thought of when I heard it

 

If anyone finds rips or figures out how to do so, pls dm me. I need these songs in my library.

Like there is literally so much content in this site it’s going to take a couple days to listen to it all but the Dessner brothers EP is amaaaaazing

 

What the hell, there are so many songs on that site! Have they always been sitting there waiting to be discovered or are they new? Guess I have a lot to listen to today! Would love if these were downloadable too, would make it easier haha

Also, If you open up the developer tools in chrome and go to the Network tab, you can grab the mp3s for each song. It's only 128 kbps, but at least it's something until/if they release higher quality versions.

 

Also saw them live last night - it was unreal

 

Was originally going to go to Indy straight from Chicago but things fell through. I heard that they played 33 GOD during a lightning storm??

yeah it was pretty nuts - they had to delay the show by 30 minutes after that but then they finished the set and it was incredible

I ended up having an awful night after the show in Chicago and an even worse Monday/drive home. This website has giving me life when I truly needed it.

i've just been diving into the site all day, what an absolute incredible treasure trove this is.

 

It's wild to me how much the Big Red Machine songs sound like the exact meshing of The National and Bon Iver. Like, it sounds exactly like what you would expect with members of both projects collaborating.

(Not a slight, because both artists are the GOAT)
