I've only listened once through, so hopefully I'll come around. It was a bit too abrasive for me tho

 

Almost made it through entirely going into work today. Need to try again tonight but I loved everything I heard. Really glad I held off listening to the singles released beforehand too many times.

I think it's pretty apparent which song is my favorite on the album. I love how the actual lyrics always subvert what you think you hear. Crazy amount of depth in the L and R speakers in the HQ version of the album compared to the leak.

Stafford's album version blows away the live version.

Only songs I think might be a little better in the Eaux Claires version is 666, and the horn section of 8 (circle). Everything else on the studio version A+. Cool for the people who get to hear this during his NYC residency

I really love the how bombastic the live.version sounds. One of my best buds actually texted me last night telling me how disappointed he was that the studio version sounds much more held back than the live version

 

Oh fuck, Bellows today too? Need Oathbreaker, Infinity Crush, Slaughter Beach. Now, knowing what you know of me, would I actually care about this Yellowcard? I mean...

 

it was very good when i listened on stream just sad it's not on stream either

 

I just absolutely love how he manipulated the vocals on Stafford. Like the slight tonal shift when he goes into his falsetto is sick

 

meh, they were my favorite band in 2011/2012 so it's not like i'd be into it if i didn't have that connection. it's a fine record that i didn't dislike and that's all i wanted from them haha
