2009/2010 school year was the worst. Completely fell behind on a ton of music bc I couldn't download anything in a dorm. Could barely stream anything either because of the data cap. If we went over, they'd slow our internet almost completely.

I remember I grabbed like fun, Thrice and a few mixtapes that I ran with for weeks until I could come home and download.

Still finding it hard to get on board with 00000 Million. It'll grow on me I'm sure, but it doesn't seem natural with the rest of the album. More of a BI, BI song imo

    what a waste of wood

Both of the live versions are so much better.

It's interesting, this might seem like a weird thought, but I almost feel like "Beth / Rest" would be a great closer for 22 A Million and Million would do fine closing BIBI... Not that I think that should happen, just a weird thought

I like this a lot better in HQ, ha. Probably still my least favorite Bon Iver record though. The first two had a magic for me that this one seems to lack, and I can't put my finger on what that is.

I don't like this any more honestly. I still think there's a lot of great stuff on here but a lot of parts that hold it back for me and I never find myself truly loving it like his past stuff or like I wanted to based on my first listen to the live play through.

Do you still like the live version or have you not gone back to it?

I went back to it after I first got this and I definitely preferred it but I really don't want to be listening to a live version so I've just stuck with this. I wish I'd never heard the live version honestly because I do think it affected how I feel about this album.

I mostly just wish I hadn't heard the live version of "Strafford," because I think I would like that song better on the record if I hadn't fallen in love with that version of it.

I feel like with that song I still just wouldn't like that vocal effect he uses but yeah I don't think I'd be as disappointed in it.

This is great. It kind of sounds like Yeezus: Part 2 in places. Overall though this is obviously its own thing and I love it.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't like it much either, but I thought it was going to be maybe his best song based on the live version and I don't think that about this version.

Yeah, I can tell I'm going to be pretty obsessed with this.

Circle is great. Is there guest vocals on Strafford?

Easily AOTY, I think there's a lot of substance to this record and I'm still hearing different things with each listen. By the way, that upright bass in 666...
