i haven’t watched any “new” BA videos (still rewatch old videos often) and I absolutely love Brad, but this feels like he’s desperately trying to recapture the old days and it’s a fuckin’ bummer. Really wish he just moved on to another channel

 

interesting take. I'm curious as to where this new space is and why its not the BA kitchen, and like I said, why is Hunzi involved? I thought he quit.

it didn't come across to me as trying to recapture old magic, but maybe because its been away for a while it feels forced rather than a continuation

i will say the second half of that video feels a little more natural. Hunzi was suspended or something, I guess reinstated.

Not sure where the new space was, it’s likely just a social distance thing, renting out smaller spaces to shoot individually. Not sure if they still have a kitchen in the WTC (assume that’s a crazy expensive rent to pay when not shooting there).

 

I haven't either. I really liked the chemistry with the test kitchen staff before everything went down (even though I did have my preferences on who I liked more - as I am sure we all did), but it just feels...weird now. It also feels like their views have dipped a bunch and they are posting less? I just checked their channel and noticed that.

 

I wonder if when they can go back to WTC if the new people will be in the test kitchen. thats what really made the connection.

I like Brad but a lot of shit he makes seems incredibly sketchy, but I don’t know shit about cooking.

 

I actually caught this bug myself. Thought it was some ribs that I made (not fermented). Crazy coincidence.

 

Also if you’re going to eat rotten meat because you watched a YouTube video of a dude who’s whole schtick is being a fool, maybe Botulism isn’t the worst thing going for you?
