it's my #2 of all time

 

going going gone is such a perfect track

 

I think we’re still somehow underrating him as an artist. Listen to the utter freedom he has on this song.

 

Don't know why but I randomly got an urge to listen to Sara this week, which led to me listening to Desire, which I now have a completely new appreciate for. Everything really clicked into place for me. I think Hurricane and Joey are such big stories and long songs that they distracted me a bit from how incredible the rest of the album is.

 

He has started making his own stories on Instagram. What a time to be alive

 

I was so genuinely moved watching one of the great geniuses of the age feel so self-conscious about his musicianship, only for two other utter giants to teach him how to sound like him and cheer him on.

It's a kinda fluffy doc overall, but there's something about seeing how all these mythologized heroes act alongside and in the presence of other legends that's essential viewing.

 

That’s fine I love fluffy music docs haha. Just finally watched the Petty Wildflowers doc recently which I would characterize as pretty fluffy and enjoyed it immensely

 

Sometimes the subject is so cool that even with a fluffy, pro forma doc, you’re going to be thrilled just by the details about it
