No. But they’re a decent person that’s really kind and who genuinely loves the band. Accurate or not, I just think it’s a weird look to make fun of someone who is just being a very big fan of a band.

 

Don’t think it’s that serious. Greg made a harmless joke. blinkitalia are fine, but they absolutely go overboard commemorating moments in this band’s history that don’t need it

See, I disagree with that last part. A lot of people on here are big blink fans and don’t post obnoxious weird things about the band members and their families. I don’t think anybody who laughed at my joke would say it’s because they’re a big fan. We all are. There’s a very clear distinction between being a big fan and being obsessed to the point of posting about irrelevant or personal parts of the bands life. No matter how nice they are, they are very weird in what they do in a bad way sometimes.

I totally get that. They do go a little overboard. But it’s harmless. Idk, I just think it’s weird to make fun of them (even in jest). I see it happen a lot on here, might have jumped the gun at you greg, which isn’t fair.

None of this is needed. And what that account does regularly is really weird and borderline parasocial at times in how it talks about the band's family or kids, and I say that full well knowing my entire career started as an obsessive Blink-182 fansite.

 

I agree it feels weird when that account posts stuff about their family even if it’s just a happy birthday/anniversary thing. Especially when they include pictures. Just stick to music and the band.

Yeah those posts are a little weird. Even I can admit that. I don’t think they mean anything by them though

 

I mean, I don’t think they have bad intentions. It’s just not cool to do that, IMO.

 

I don’t think it’s done with bad intentions but it’s still weird especially if/when the kids are underage.
