I can't remember if I preordered the vinyl or not. Can't find anything in my emails but I feel like I would have.

 

I think I ordered the Mark variant, but I’m curious to see what else will be available once pre-orders go up.

 

I know it’s highly unlikely but I hope they keep the original vinyl preorders as the most limited variants or just do plain black. Would be a nice way to reward the super fans who PO’d vinyl after only hearing EDGING and nothing else..

New theory: the new ‘illustration’ that has been done of Travis is for a new song which will be played live on the UK/Euro leg of the tour. The illustration is for the video accompanying the performance on the big screens at the shows. Any chance?

 

Definitely possible, since it looks to be a continuation of the Edging video.

it just doesn’t seem to fit in with either of the two (allegedly) music videos that have been made. The green screen and the first date mark II vibes one. It must be for something else.

 

they would have a significant priority to cut in line but I think those babies are done and ready to ship once the date hits. Ship out 10/15 to be in hands by the 20th.

I’m listening to take off your pants and jacket and chillin on the beach. This album has so much energy to it. I know there are a lot of cringe lyrics but it’s just peak blink.

Labels wanna inflate that first week number as much as possible, and Taylor’s Midnights showed that if you make a dozen variants, collectors are gonna buy multiple copies.
I’m fully expecting stores like Target, Walmart, UO etc to have their own exclusive variants

You’re not the only person saying it. And nothing I said changes. If someone truly believes that, it applies. If someone doesn’t believe it, it doesn’t apply.

Edging sounded great. Also blink haven’t sounded like shit since Neighborhoods recorded. Feel like this conversation is reserved for much smaller bands around here.

I won't argue with that. I think there's preference and then there's disagreeing with a band's decision to make the music sound the way they want. A little too much entitlement. And I'm not saying decisions aren't made that can affect quality. It's more the " MY decisions weren't made by the band therefore it's bad" attitude.
