The BCR album is a perfect mix of TOYPAJ and Untitled production.

 

It’s a good bridge between musical styles of both albums but production wise, to me, it sounds exactly the same as TOYPAJ (which is good!)

 

BCR is like Spiderman 3 if Tom was Peter Parker.

Muted the tv while ads were playing and Travis popped up on the screen. Ad was for the new Kardashians show on Hulu. I hope blink182italia shares Travis-only clips from the show .

 

TOYPAJ set the standard for what I considered to be mint production for many, many years. So bright and full.

 

Damn, I LOVE the produciton on TOYPAJ. It's so clear and timeless without being too overdone.

 

TIL Failure were listed as influences in the liner notes for Untitled. If you haven't checked them out, I would strongly recommend you do! Fantastic Planet is where you'd want to start & one of my favorite albums from the 90s. Theyre a three piece but sound MASSIVE and the riffs are just *chef's kiss*

 

Travis was in the Kardashians Ep. 1 a lot. Obviously focusing on the relationship but they did go to his studio and he did play drums for like 15 seconds. His studio is sick.


Needless to say my GF was very excited for me to be interested in watching.

I always found it weird on those tv shows that band's weren't just ready to start playing the song right after they got introduced. They walk over, pickup the instruments, check to make sure things are still working, then start play haha.

 

I love how halfway through The Descendents video there's just a guy ripping a yoyo like a boss.

 

The shorts still absolutely kill me .
