I pre-ordered a Dude Ranch vinyl in June 2022 and still haven't received it, so I cancelled it and ordered a new one off Amazon yesterday, which will be here tomorrow. Finally get to replace my water damaged pressing, RIP.

I'm actually not too upset that the single didnt come today. This new Foo Fighters album is fantastic, as is the new Yellowcard single. I'm content keeping those on repeat all weekend, and dedicating next week to new Blink.

My expectations are tempered. Would love a new song, but the band having the time of their lives on tour knowing all of these good vibes are happening in the recording sessions has me feeling sufficiently psyched.

Also the Kenny Bloc Party collab is unreal. He is the heir apparent. The blink adjacent universe is popping off today!!

yet to hear a blink cover I like. There’s something about them when it’s a pound for pound pop punk cover it’s never as good and when it’s another genre riffing on the original It’s always out of place to me. generally i love covers, but the blink ones have always been lost on me.

that's a catchy little Katy Perry song haha. i listened to the entire song though which is more than i can say about the "dammit" cover.

 

At the end of the day, the Colleen Green Dude Ranch cover album is the only blink covers anybody needs to listen to
