EOTS might be the first album I ever listened to front to back, and then did that thousands of times.

I was … 6 … when it came out and my older brothers convinced my mom to buy the cassette/CD and we listened to it every single car ride for years. I know they always refer to it as “nursery rhymes on drugs” but that’s slightly accurate.

Enema is so well done production-wise, it sounds like it just came out

Forever my favorite record. That album is probably 90% responsible for getting me into punk

  5. 40% of my top ten albums being Blink-182 is pretty damn funny.

as much as i loved goodbye to misery, i only just got around to listening to cold years’ first album the other day. Really liked it a lot! Are they pretty comparable to you?

  8. I like both quite a bit, I think the new one gets a slight edge for me, but the first has some real classics on it. I come back to both a lot.

I also enjoy both a lot.

Paradise gives me American Slang vibes where Goodbye to Misery is the best Green Day album in years. Absolutely love these two albums a lot but giving the edge to Goodbye to Misery.

hmm i've never even heard of Cold Years. i guess i'll give em a peep.

EDIT: i'm getting more Rise Against vibes than Green Day. it's like if Rise Against and Boys Like Girls or something combined forces.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

My 16 year old sister got Enema when it came out and I was 13. I used to listen to it in her room and I will never forget that it was the layered guitar octave bridge into "dark and scary...." in Aliens Exist that took me to a different level and made me realize "holy shit, I love this".

Cold Years quickly became an all-timer for me. Goodbye to Misery is wonderful.

“What’s My Age Again?” on the commercials for the new season of Clone High. Amazing.

Was talking with my brother about how "What's My Age Again" never ever gets old. I can leave or take All the Small Things, Dammit, and First Date when they come on shuffle, but What's My Age Again is always just so good.

WMAA might be the quintessential blink song for me, or Man Overboard. Not my all-time favorite blink song, but the best song that sums up "blink" for who they are.

Same here. I was definitely aware of "Dammit" as a kid, but "What's My Age Again?" was what really sparked my interest in blink and set off my whole fandom. I've never gotten sick of it.

Neighborhoods took essentially two and a half years though, if you include touring/etc.

(Neighborhoods was special to me though...)
