It's Cameron from We Are The In Crowd, he did a bunch of covers in the style of pop-punk / "scene" bands

The biggest ones were the Blink ones naturally

 

ah yes, both of those covers are on this Dude Ranch release so I listened to clips of them this morning. pretty fun!

 

Most of the "what if blink-182 wrote..." covers are awful and sound nothing like blink, but he's come closer than anyone else has.

 

I dunno. Less Than Jake dropped their last album in the dead of winter and I just couldn't connect with it at all. Tried again during the summer and now it is up there with my favorites from them. If Edging is an outlier and this is closer to Untitled territory, it'll be great for fall. If it's a throwback pop punk album, I think I'm going to have trouble connecting with it for a bit. Nothing wrong with a grower though

 

Been stalking MSG all week and the prices haven't moved. $1,200 for pit makes me sick to my stomach. Literally nosebleeds for $500 is insanity.

 

+1 to some albums totally having a "Feel" that pairs with a season. I think Enema and dude ranch may be the only blink albums that have that feel for me and naturally that's warm weather/summer.

It's a bummer that we have to wait so much longer for sure, but hopefully it will be worth the wait.

 

For a few years Neighborhoods was one of my favorite fall albums but it just didn't age well and blink has since added two albums that doomed it from any of my rotation

 

Jimmy Eat World - Futures is the most Fall album of all-time.

 

Not sure on that one, when Proper Dose was released in September (all recent TSSF drama aside) it hit me just at the right time and became an amazing fall record for me.

Of course for fans discovering albums years later after their release the initial timeline is a non-issue but overall the initial release for me as a fan and probably for any band that has a certain mood based with their sound is pretty important for success.

 

I live in San Diego where we barely have seasons so I just listen to whatever I want whenever I want lol

Untitled came out Nov 18 if I'm not mistaken... and it fits all seasons. Good Blink is good Blink.

 

I live in Scotland so we barley have any seasons either. It’s just that our one season is winter instead of summer.

 

Have my Nashville tickets... about to book a hotel room... and a hotel baby sitter - not anxious about that at all.

500 is super low for a guy like Mark, 3 (likely more) copies went to this thread alone!
