Hoppus, DeLonge & Barker is a half-hour sitcom starring the sophomoric rock legends as members of a struggling-but-passionate middle-aged rock band and life-long best friends who share musical successes, comic mishaps, personal losses, and everything else life throws in their path in the only way they know how: with the edgy, irreverent humor and eternally youthful guitar lines the veteran musicians have been known for over the last 25+ years. The multi-camera show will begin every episode with a performance of a classic Blink 182 song as their fictional band (Floppy Disk Without the S) and 1-2 minutes of banter between band leaders Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge that summarizes the themes and topics featured in the ensuing episode. The pilot presentation, titled “Cusp My Balls, Caddy”, introduces the fictional Mark, Tom, and Travis as workers at a snooty country club in San Diego, California and centers around an after-hours employee-only battle of the bands between our titular trio and their teenage co-workers’ genre-mixing hip hop and rock band (Hot Mustard XxX). The three leads are represented by Principato-Young and are joined in the main cast by Donald Logue (Grounded for Life) as Billiam the cantankerous country club general manager, Amanda Crew (Silicon Valley) as Nance the band’s combined love interest, and Blair Underwood (LA Law) as Maxie the owner of Geffen Records.

Nowhere. We are just hoping a new song comes out before the tour starts in a few days. But they did post a link to pre-save new music from them a few days ago too. So that seems like something is coming soon maybe

 

Ah yep. The fact that it's been radio silence from the dudes for some time now I see as a good sign. Annoying, but good.

Yeah, no one has posted studio updates for a while now and at least a chunk of the album has hit the mixing stage. Just seems like it’s gotta be sooner than later since tour is about to kick off but no one really knows for sure lol.

Still can't believe Turnstile is opening the shows. Been watching the Denver prices slowly drop. Planning on buying a ticket day of if there are reasonable seats for less than $100. Their earlier albums have been on heavy rotation for me. Perfect 30-minute rippers and it's so cool to hear the sound slowly evolve to what it is today. If we don't get the Travis Barker-assisted Drop / No Future mashup at the shows, I don't know what we are even doing here "NO FUUUUUUTURRRRRE"

But for real any good live videos of Tom doing a song with Turnstile or Brendan doing a song with Blink will rule.
