In all seriousness, if he did an AMA here, we’d obviously ask him to rank the blink records right?

 

If you had 15 minutes to ask Tom or Mark anything and they HAD to answer truthfully, what would you ask?

 

I’d ask them where “21 Days” came from, since that song’s such a standout stylistically from anything else in their early years.

I’d also ask to hear the unreleased songs from the Dude Ranch demo. And any TOYPAJ demos that supposedly exist.

 

I mean obviously what “I time bomb” means

 

I’d ask about the whole scott being kicked out lol

 

All my questions would be music related. To decisions made while recording, specific songs, choices about albums, production, intent, expectations.

 

When’s the blinkumentary coming out?

Seriously though I would ask if they ever plan on releasing the Untitled Anniversary Tour live recordings. They are really due to release another live album. I would also ask them why they don’t feel like fans would want to hear deeper cuts or demos/unreleased stuff.

 

I’d also want to ask if there were any songs either of them weren’t very stoked on that ended up making it onto an album

 

I just want to know more about Jerry Finn

 

I’d want to ask Tom if he can name the songs on Neighborhoods. Also if he listened and California and Nine and his thoughts.

I'd be curious to hear his honest thoughts on how he knew he "finished" Lifeforms. I mean, Rebel Girl was released 2 years ago. Lots of teasing, miscommunications on track numbers - how did he know he was done with it.

I understand all bands go through this, but with everything he's been working on - I'm quite curious about this album specifically.
